Zaya comes from the city of Homs in Syria. Today she lives in Azraq camp and found out about the clinic through Facebook. It's her first visit at the clinic, "I've been living there for two years now. I came at the clinic because of my asthma, I didn't have it in Syria, it started since I've been living in the camp. I already have been hospitalized in the past but I still need to get something to help me breathe better. I'm so grateful of the service here at SAMS clinic."
"I came for my 1 year old baby, his name is Abdel Rahim. He has burns on his hands. I'm so glad he could get him treated so fast as it's the first time I come here at SAMS clinic."
Olfa is originally from Syria and has been living in Jordan for the past 6 years. She came to the clinic with a family member and they are both being treated for allergy, asthma and diabetes. Olfa said after her visit: "Before coming to SAMS clinic, I was used to be given prescription without even being asked about any kind of medical history. The doctors would give me medication without establishing a diagnostic. But here, I felt that the doctor did the best she could during the consultation."
